Varsity Volleyball is one of Loyola’s most successful athletic teams. The team began play in 2001 and has won eight MIAA championships. They have gone undefeated three times and sustained a 42-match win streak during 2010–12. The team prides itself on sportsmanship, camaraderie, and fun. Several team alumni have gone on to compete in the NCAA including Ryan Quesenberry ’11 (Springfield), Drew Potter '18 (Wentworth), Samuel Clark '19 (Ohio State) and Ethan Cohen '21 (Sacred Heart).
Head Coach Tim Baier '90 is in his 18th year as head coach (21st year overall) and is assisted by Ryan Quesenberry—a member of three national championship teams for Springfield College and the USA World University Games team in 2013.
