Meet Noah

FEATURING:

Noah Blair '25

Noah Blair is the 2025 recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Spring Award. As a lacrosse team captain, Noah takes his role as a leader on and off the field seriously. He joined Loyola as an 8th grader who was looking for a private school education. “I wanted a school that aligned with our family’s values.” He knew some friends who attended Loyola so his Don for Day experience was filled with fist bumps and familiar faces. “When I stepped on campus, I knew I was home.”  He credits Mr. Hosford, his 8th grade math teacher, with supporting him in his transition.

Service was a driving factor in Noah’s decision to attend Blakefield and he has embraced the opportunities Loyola offers with open arms. His involvement in the philanthropy club and the Best Buddies Program speaks to his dedication to being a man for others. “It means a lot to me to give back and reminds me how fortunate we are in our lives.” He is especially looking forward to the Best Buddies field day at the end of May when students from the Gateway School will come to Loyola to play games with our students!

Noah’s favorite thing about being a Don is the brotherhood, and the connections he’s made within the community are something he will cherish moving forward. “I have created friendships and bonds that will last a lifetime. But his teachers, Mr. Anderson and Mr. Keeney, in particular have made the biggest impact on him. “I look up to them and they helped me grow throughout my journey.”.

Noah is heading to High Point University in the fall where he plans to major in Marketing and play lacrosse. He hopes his legacy will remain as a servant leader; others can look up to. We know his spirit of giving back, love of community, and positive energy will continue to guide him to excellence!

Fun Fact: Noah is a music lover and listens to all genres!
