During Loyola Blakefield's fall 2024 President's Reception hosted on October 10th, we were honored and humbled to present the 2024 Rev. James Salmon, S.J. Award to Pam and Tom O'Neil.
The Rev. James F. Salmon, S.J. Award is named in honor of former Loyola Blakefield President, Fr. James Salmon. This award recognizes an individual or family within the Loyola Blakefield community who, through their generosity, has had a tremendous impact on our school.
The O'Neil's many years of support, including gifts to Loyola capital campaigns, gifts to support the Peer Education Program, and their incredible generosity in helping us to advance the Fine Arts (Blakefield Players) are just a few of the ways in which Loyola Blakefield is grateful for their support. Additionally, Tom O'Neil served on the Board of Trustees from 2002 through 2009, including as Board Chair.
“Loyola’s credo of “a man for others” helps a person to think outside of one’s self-interest. Our support of various activities at Loyola Blakefield is based on our belief in that credo.” - Pam and Tom O'Neil
