Daniel McCormick '26 Receives National Art Honors
The Alliance for Young Artists & Writers recently announced their national award recipients, and we are pleased to share that Daniel McCormick '26 has earned a National Gold Key Award for his sculpture titled "Tough Cookie." He is also the Maryland recipient of the American Visions Award, which recognizes originality, skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision. The Scholastic Art & Writing Award are the nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. Please join us in congratulating Daniel on this amazing accomplishment.
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. The Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent and present their remarkable work to the world through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. The Awards give students opportunities for recognition, exhibition, publication, and scholarships.
