Announcing Loyola Blakefield's Partnership with the Maryland Zoo
Loyola Blakefield is excited to announce a new partnership with the Maryland Zoo, sponsoring their popular Keeper Chats series, which helps provide unique educational opportunities for visitors. Popular among Zoo visitors, Keeper Chats offer an enriching experience where guests learn directly from the Zoo’s dedicated animal care professionals. These interactive sessions provide insight into the daily lives of the animals, their habitats, and conservation efforts that are critical to each species’ survival. Loyola Blakefield’s sponsorship aims to make the chats more accessible and engaging for all attendees, cultivating a greater appreciation for global wildlife and conservation.
This exciting initiative underscores the school’s dedication to education, community engagement, and integral ecology while fostering an educational and engaging experience for visitors of all ages. In addition to the Keeper Chats, the school will have an increased presence at Zoo events.
Loyola’s sponsorship also bolsters the Zoo’s broader mission of conservation, education, and community outreach. Consistent with its commitment to environmental stewardship and experiential learning, the school will help promote the Zoo’s vital work in protecting endangered species and promoting biodiversity.
“We are thrilled to enter this new partnership with the Maryland Zoo, a collaboration that perfectly aligns with our educational mission and a desire to more deeply explore the complex and evolving relationship between humans and nature,” said Robert Robinson, Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer. “This partnership not only enhances our understanding of the natural world but also encourages more members of the Loyola community to engage directly with the Zoo and its diverse array of wildlife. We are particularly excited about the chance to welcome a special visitor from the Zoo to campus. Stay tuned for more details!"
The Loyola Blakefield-sponsored Keeper Chats will commence this summer with sessions available daily to Zoo visitors. For more information about the Keeper Chats schedule and upcoming special events, please visit the Maryland Zoo’s website.
