Mr. Steve Morrill Named CyberPatriot Coach of the Year

As we celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Cyber Science at Loyola Blakefield this fall, it's only fitting that our Director of Cyber Science & Informatics Mr. Stephen Morrill has recently been named the CyberPatriot XIII Coach of the Year. He has served as a volunteer with CyberPatriot since 2014 and has coached several groups of Dons to the State, Regional, and National Finals rounds of the nation's largest cyber defense competition, which puts high school and middle school students in charge of securing virtual networks. He has helped our students reach the National Finals in five out of the past six years. Most recently, Team Crystal took home 2nd place in the Cisco Networking Challenge this spring, with each student earning $1,500 in scholarships.
