Boozer, a tight end and linebacker while at Loyola, converted to the offensive line during a standout college career at Temple University. He went undrafted in 2018, but signed as an unrestricted free agent with the Tampa Buccaneers and spent the majority of his rookie season on the Bucs’ practice squad before being cut at the end of the 2019 training camp.
