Loyola Water Polo Sweeps MIAA Championships
Congratulations to JV and Varsity Water Polo for capturing MIAA Championships this past Saturday at host school McDonogh.
JV defeated Gilman 8–6 in the finals, while our varsity squad dominated Mount St. Joseph High School 27–15 in their semifinal match before defeating McDonogh 19–10 for the championship. This capped off an undefeated season as the team claimed its first title since 2018. Luke Shropshire '22 led the way with seven goals for the Dons in the championship match, while Tanner Turrall '22 added four scores.
