Breaking Ground on the Bolte-Breschi Athletic Complex
We were thrilled to gather on Saturday, April 24, with a small group of leadership benefactors, trustees, and staff for an official blessing and groundbreaking ceremony for our new turf complex. In recognition of a generous lead gift by Tim and Sheila Bolte (parents of Tim ’08 & Andrew ’09), the project will be named the Bolte-Breschi Athletic Complex.
Additionally, Patrick T. Connor ’77 and his wife Michele (parents of Brian ’08 & Sean ’09 and Marc J. ‘08 and Michael J. “MJ” Franklin ‘08) have generously invested in the project with the naming of the premier performance field as the Joseph C. Connor ’42 Field. They also reserved naming rights for the secondary field, which was unveiled on Saturday as the Michael T. Keeney ’65 Field in honor of Mr. Keeney’s service and commitment to Loyola and its Dons.

Work is expected to commence on the fields in mid-May with the expectation to have them ready for the fall. Thanks to all those who have supported this exciting project! Learn more here.
