The Blakefield Players

Take the Stage

The Loyola Blakefield Players present three productions each year for the school community including a drama, a musical, and a comedy. Students audition for each play or musical and then rehearse after school for a six to eight week period before performing on two consecutive weekends for the general public. The Stage Crew builds the scenery for each production and students on crew also serve as the technicians for sound, lights and backstage for each show.

Spring Comedy

Noises Off
A Comedy About Theater
May 16 - 19

The Blakefield Players present "Noises Off!" a riotous comedy that follows the hilarious mishaps and chaos backstage during the production of a farce called "Nothing's On." As the inept actors struggle with forgotten lines, romantic entanglements, and collapsing sets, the chaos escalates into a sidesplitting frenzy of theatrical calamity. You certainly won't want to miss this one!
